303-24 October 29, 2024 RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE CCRB TO FILL VACANCIES WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 4, Sections 40.1 through 40.3 of the Township of West Orange Municipal Code establish a Civilian Complaint Review Board (“CCRB”); and WHEREAS, three members of the CCRB are appointed by the Township Council and four members of the CCRB are appointed by the Mayor; and WHEREAS, the current members of the CCRB are as follows: NAME APPOINTMENT/ TER M Vacant Chair Mayor Rabbi Robert Tobin Mayor McCartney 6/23/2023-6/22/2027 Reverend Zach Guyton Mayor McCartney 6/23/2023-6/22/2027 Pastor William Charles Mayor McCartney 6/23/2023-6/22/2027 Cynthia Bailey V. RaShawn Woodley Vacant Council Consensus Council Consensus Council Consensus and; WHEREAS, the Mayor and Township Council seek to appoint members to the CCRB to fill the vacancies in the CCRB; and WHEREAS, the Mayor seeks to appoint Ambra Lewis Cottle as a member of the CCRB; and WHEREAS, the Mayor is entitled to appoint the chair of the CCRB pursuant to Chapter 40, Section 40.2(a)(3);
