326-24 November 25, 2024 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Matrix New World (“Matrix”) has prepared a proposal for environmental services associated with the pre-demolition of a structure located at the former Biddelman Site located in the Township; and WHEREAS, prior to demolition, it is critical to determine if the material can be utilized for beneficial reuse on-site during redevelopment or must be disposed off-site; and WHEREAS, Matrix has conducted concrete sampling and based upon the results, the impacted concrete will be segregated from building materials; and WHEREAS, Matrix has submitted the proposal annexed hereto as Exhibit “A” to conduct concrete sampling activities; NOW, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to execute an agreement, in the form annexed hereto, to retain Matrix as to conduct work consistent with the Scope of Work in Exhibit “A” annexed hereto on the terms and conditions set forth therein at a cost of $8,520.00; Karen J.
