2913-25 LEGISLATIVE HISTORY This Ordinance is in response to requests from handicapped residents who reside at 125 Elm Street, 48 Park Terrace, and 42 Wellington Avenue. A Handicapped Parking Space on the Street will be established opposite 125 Elm Street, because there is no opportunity to park legally in front of or on the side of the residence due to other parking regulations. Because this space cannot be restricted to the resident, any person with a handicapped plate or placard may park there. The Township will also establish handicapped parking spaces adjacent to the other two addresses. Such parking stalls are permissible under the laws of New Jersey, and they are designated as Restricted Parking Zones.
