Based on their recommendations and requests from local residents, on street parking will be increased on Longview Street and Lindsley Avenue. 2933-25 LEGISLATIVE HISTORY The Ordinance, which amends the Traffic Regulations of the Township, updates the parking regulations on Franklin Avenue between Main Street and Cherry Street to allow more parking for the local residents, including those on the neighboring side streets. Accommodations were made to allow for snow plowing and weekly street cleaning and maintenance. These changes were made in response to local residents’ demand for more on street parking in this neighborhood and in part suggested by the recent Comprehensive Parking Study undertaken by Dynamic Traffic Engineering for the Township.
