Certification No. 691 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF EXPERIENCE: Municipal and Governmental engineering including the design and construction administration of various capital transportation projects including; road rehabilitation, road reconstruction, intersection improvements, traffic signalization, lighting improvements, superelevated roadways, at grade railroad crossings, transit facilities, transportation studies and traffic impact analysis. Design and construction administration associated with water distribution systems, sanitary sewerage systems, and storm drainage system improvements. Park improvements and athletic facility design and construction administration including facilities for disabled persons. Cost estimating, long and short range project budgeting, preparation of municipal roadway improvement studies, preparation of State grant and construction permit applications and reimbursement documentation, review of site plan and subdivision applications, and quality control reviews of project plans and specifications prior to bidding. Attendance of project bid openings and preparation of reports regarding bid results. Construction management including the assignment and coordination of construction observation staff, owner and contractor coordination, shop drawing reviews and review of contractor payment requests. Concept designs, alternative studies and engineering proposals for various municipal projects. Engineering services associated with the preparation and implementation of Redevelopment Plans and associated site improvements. Currently, as a Municipal Department Head, Mr. Ploskonka provides engineering services to several Municipalities and Counties. In addition, he provides Planning and Zoning Board engineering services including expert testimony and site plan and subdivision reviews. EXPERIENCE: Engineering Experience: 39 years
