16-26 January 6, 2026 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE COLLECTOR OF TAXES TO REFUND PAYMENT TO THE LISTED TAXPAYER DUE TO AN OVERBILL OF TAXES ON THE PROPERTY WHEREAS, certain West Orange property owners have been overbilled for the year of 2025, due to assessed values changes as a result of the townwide revaluation and; WHEREAS, such West Orange property owners have overpaid taxes for the year of 2025; and the property owners are entitled to refunds to the extent of such overpayment; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange that the Tax Collector and the Treasurer of West Orange are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to refund the taxpayers on the attached list sums in full and final satisfaction of the overpayment of the 2025 taxes.
