HOME funds from each of the federal fiscal years of the agreement’s specified qualification period, and each successive qualification period for which the agreement is renewed, are expended and the funded activities completed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Township of West Orange, that it hereby authorizes the Mayor and Municipal Clerk to execute the Cooperation Agreement in a substantially similar form as attached hereto and in accordance with the provisions of law, subject to Township Attorney review; for the Federal Fiscal Years 2027 to 2029 (October 1, 2026- September 30, 2029), and for successive three (3) year periods, as provided in the Housing and Community Development Act, until terminated; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption, and a copy to this resolution be forwarded to the Essex County Division of Housing & Community Development no later than July 31, 2026.
