607.03 CONSTRUCTION THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED TO THE BEGINNING: Cast-in-place concrete items shall not be constructed from November 1 to March 15 unless methods are reviewed and approved by the RE. THE FOLLOWING SUBPART(S) ARE ADDED: 607.03.08 Pavement Repair Strips Adjacent to Constructed Curb-lines Construction for pavement repair strips adjacent to curbs consisting of DENSE-GRADED AGGREGATE BASE COURSE, HOT MIX ASPHALT 9.5M64 SURFACE COURSE, HOT MIX ASPHALT 19M64 BASE COURSE and shall be in accordance with subsections 302.03 & 401.043. 607.03.09 Topsoil, Fertilizing, Seeding & Straw Mulching Construction for TOPSOILING, 4" THICK, FERTILIZING AND SEEDING, TYPE A-3 and STRAW MULCHING and shall be in accordance with subsections 804.03, 806.03 & 809.03. 607.04 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT THE FOLLOWING PAY ITEMS ARE ADDED: Pay Item Pay Unit 9"X18" CONCRETE VERTICAL CURB LINEAR FEET GRANITE CURB LINEAR FEET THIS SUBSECTION IS CHANGED TO: Areas of granite and concrete curb unnecessarily disturbed or damaged during construction shall be replaced by the Contractor at no additional cost to the Township. THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED: Payment for DENSE-GRADED AGGREGATE BASE COURSE, HOT MIX ASPHALT 9.5M64 SURFACE COURSE, HOT MIX ASPHALT 19M64 BASE COURSE at pavement repair strips where adjacent to proposed curb-lines and as detailed on the plans shall be included under the various bid curb items in this section including but not limited to 9" X 18" CONCRETE VERTICAL CURB & GRANITE CURB. Payment for TOPSOILING, 4" THICK, FERTILIZING AND SEEDING, TYPE A-3 AND STRAW MULCHING shall be included under the various bid items in this section including but not limited to 9" X 18" CONCRETE VERTICAL CURB & GRANITE CURB. All applicable unit bid price in this section shall include Excavation, , pavement removal and disposal of all materials in order to construct in accordance with the plans and specifications. No separate payment will be made for sawcutting and restoration and shall be included in the unit price bid for vertical curb and granite curb. 38
