820.04 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT The Township will measure and make payment for Items as follows: Item Pay Unit CONTRACT ALLOWANCE LUMP SUM The Contract quantity of CONTRACT ALLOWANCE is a lump sum allowance, and the engineer has inserted a bid price in the Schedule of Prices. Payment shall not be requested if no work is done under CONTRACT ALLOWANCE. To qualify for payment, work must be authorized by the Engineer in writing. 53
