TERRITORY NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT ENTIRE STATE PREVAILING WAGE RATE DETERMINATION PIPELINE - GAS DISTRIBUTION _ Rates Expiration Date : These rates apply to the following: welding on gas line distribution systems (that portion of the gas distribution system placed in streets, roads, subways, tunnels, viaducts, highways and easements which serves the users of gas). SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS: An “irregular” shift may start any time from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, and shall receive an additional 15% of the regular rate per hour, inclusive of benefits. OVERTIME: Hours in excess of forty per week, and all hours on Saturdays shall be paid at time and one-half the regular rate, inclusive of benefits. All hours on Sundays and holidays shall be paid at double the regular rate, inclusive of benefits. RECOGNIZED HOLIDAYS: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Sunday holidays observed the following Monday.
