180-26 AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE AND A&J CONTRACTORS GROUP, INC, FOR THE: 2025 CDBG ROAD REHABILITATION STANDISH AVENUE AND FREMONT STREET THIS AGREEMENT, made this 7th day of July, 2026 BETWEEN: Township of West Orange 66 Main Street West Orange, New Jersey 07052 Hereinafter Referred to as the “Township” AND: A&J CONTRACTORS GROUP, INC. 105 Federal Road Monroe, NJ 08831, Hereinafter referred to as “Contractor”. W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, the Township recognizes the need for a Contractor to provide road rehabilitation services; and WHEREAS, in that connection A&J CONTRACTORS GROUP, INC. is qualified to provide said services; and WHEREAS, the Township desires to engage A&J CONTRACTORS GROUP, INC. to serve as a “Contractor” and provide professional services that may be designated by the Township as a fair and open contract pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5; and WHEREAS, on May 26, 2026, the Township issued a set of Bid Specifications for the: 2025 CDBG ROAD REHABILITATION STANDISH AVENUE AND FREMONT STREET (the “Initial Specifications”) annexed hereto as Exhibit “A”; and WHEREAS, the Initial Specifications set forth the scope of the work to be performed stating: The work included within the Base Bid generally consists of approximately 3,075 linear feet of granite curb, 830 square yards of sidewalk, 5,350 square yards of HMA milling, and 800 tons of hot mix asphalt surface course, crosswalk striping, replacement of various inlet casting and inlet reconstruction and related improvements; all in accordance with the form of proposal,
