3 Ordinances on Second and Final Reading – None Ordinance on First Reading Ordinance #2359-12 On motion made by Councilwoman Spango and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER XXV, SECTION 25-30 OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, ENTITLED HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION, was taken up on first reading by title only. All members voting “Aye”. The Clerk read the ordinance by title only. Following discussion and on motion made by Councilman Krakoviak and seconded by Councilwoman Spango, the above mentioned ordinance was passed on first reading, advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on August 21, 2012. All members voting “Aye”. Resolution #155-12 Resolution Authorizing Interim Engagement of Phillips, Preiss, Grygiel, LLC, Hiring Paul Grygiel as the Temporary Planning Director Mr. Grygiel gave a brief overview regarding the above and responded to questions from Council. Following discussion and on motion made by Councilman Krakoviak and seconded by Councilwoman Spango, the above mentioned resolution was adopted. All members voting “Aye”. Resolution #157-12 Resolution Authorizing an Award of Contract to Eastern Communications, Ltd., 48-14 36th Street, Long Island City, NY to Upgrade Radio Communication Equipment as mandated by the FCC in the Amount of $30,960.00 Captain Matt Feula, West Orange Police Department, responded to questions from Council. Following discussion and on motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Councilman Guarino , the above mentioned resolution was adopted. All members voting “Aye”. On motion made by Councilwoman Spango and seconded by Councilman Krakoviak, the Council adjourned their regular meeting and reconvened as the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. All members voting “Aye”. Resolution #489-12
