Show all pagesOrdinance on First Reading Ordinance #2400-14 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, CHAPTER 23, SECTION 1, ESTABLISHING FEES AND RATES AT GINNY DUENKEL POOL FOR THE 2014 SEASON, was introduced and passed on first reading. All members voting “Aye”. The Clerk read the ordinance by title only. Following discussion and on motion made by Council President McCartney and seconded by Councilman Krakoviak, the above mentioned ordinance was passed on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on March 11, 2014. All members voting “Aye”. Resolution #35-14 Resolution Authorizing an Agreement with Goose Control Technology for a Term of One Year to Provide Goose Egg Treatment at Three Sites for $2,500 and to Coordinate a Volunteer Nest Site Identification Program for a Flat Rate of $500 for a Total Contract Amount NTE $3,000 Following discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Krakoviak and seconded by Councilman Cirilo to modify the language of the resolution and contract with regard to payment for volunteers. After further discussion and an explanation by the assistant township attorney Ken Kayser, Councilman Krakoviak withdrew the motion. A motion was made by Council President McCartney and seconded by Councilman Guarino, the above mentioned resolution was adopted. Councilman Cirilo, Councilman Guarino, Councilwoman Spango and Council President McCartney voting “Aye”. Councilman Krakoviak voting “Nay”. Resolution #36-14 Resolution Re-appointing Jessica Glicker as the Township’s Communications Director/Public Information Officer for the Remainder of 2014 at a Rate of $3,300 Per Month Following discussion and on motion made by Council President McCartney and seconded by Councilwoman Spango, the above mentioned resolution was adopted. Councilman Cirilo, Councilman Guarino, Councilwoman Spango and Council President McCartney voting “Aye”. Councilman Krakoviak voting “Nay”. 3
