All members voting “Nay”. Ordinances on First Reading Ordinance #2445-15 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE CREATING A RECLASSIFICATION AND SALARY SCHEDULE OF CERTAIN TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE EMPLOYEE SETTING FORTH THEIR TITLES, CLASSIFICATIONS AND SALARY RANGES AND ADOPTING A SALARY GUIDE AND ESTABLISHING THE EMPLOYEE’S STATUS AS A TOWNSHIP EMPLOYEE AND UNDER THE GUIDELINES OF THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF PERSONNEL- ASST. SUPERVISOR/PUBLIC WORKS/CERTIFIED POOL OPERATOR – ASST. SUPERVISING MECHANIC – RECORDS SUPPORT TECH, SR. PUBLIC WORKS REPAIRER/PARKING METER COLLECTOR, was introduced and passed on first reading. The Clerk read the ordinance by title only. On motion made by Councilman Cirilo and seconded by Councilman Guarino, the above mentioned ordinance was passed on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on March 24, 2015. All members voting “Aye”. Ordinance #2446-15 AN ORDINANCE CREATING CHAPTER 2, SECTION 61 OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE ENTITLED “PEDESTRIAN SAFETY ADVISORY BOARD” was introduced and passed on first reading. The Clerk read the ordinance by title only. On motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Council President Guarino, the above mentioned ordinance was passed on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on March 24, 2015. All members voting “Aye”. Resolution #59-15 Resolution Authorizing the Appointment of Alicia Skinner t/a Skinner Consulting Services as the Township’s Grant Writer for a Fee of $2,333.33 Per Month for a Period of One Year Commencing on January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015 Following discussion and on motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Councilwoman Spango, the above mentioned resolution was adopted. Councilman Cirilo, Councilman Krakoviak, Councilwoman McCartney and Councilwoman Spango voting “Aye”. Councilman Krakoviak voting “Nay”. 5
