On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilman Guarino, the above mentioned ordinance was passed on second and final reading and ordered advertised according to law. All members present voting “Aye.” Ordinance(s) on First Reading Ordinance 2501-17 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-29.1, Speed Limits in General of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on January 17, 2017. All members voting “Aye.” Ordinance 2502-17 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-46.2, Parking Prohibited During Certain Hours of Certain Days on Certain Streets Servicing Residential Land Uses, Except by Permit of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on January 17, 2017. All members voting “Aye”. Ordinance 2503-17 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-37.1b, Municipal Parking Yards; Metered Parking, Permit Parking, Time Limited Parking, and Subsection 7- 50.3h Parking Meters in Parking Yards, Prohibited Parking of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on January 17, 2017. All members voting “Aye”. At this time, Lenny Lepore explained the purpose of this Ordinance. Mr. Lepore answered questions of the Council. Pending Matters/New Matters/Council Discussion Council President Krakoviak asked Mr. Lepore to brief the Council as to the artificial turf field at the high school. Also discussed was the ordinance for the Human Relations Commission that is being reviewed by the Legal department, the Municipal Budget process and the auction of the Ridgeway Property.
