3 i. 99-17 Authorization to Calculate the Township’s Tax Collection Rate by Taking Into Account 2013 Tax Appeals and Provide Property Tax Payers the Tax Relief Benefit Offered by N.J.S.A. 46A:4-41(C)(2) (Gross) j. 100-17 Resolution Authorizing the Township to Reject Proposals Received in Response to its Request for Proposals for the Contract for Emergency Transportation Third Party Billing Following a Procedural Error that Requires the Township to Redo the Procurement of the Contract (Legal-Moon) k. 101-17 Resolution Authorizing the Auction of Abandoned Cars (DeSantis) Vehicles in violation, accidents, and/or abandoned will be towed off the street by a licensed towing company designated by the Township. The Township is authorized to sell at Public Auction unclaimed vehicles pursuant to State and Local Laws. l. 102-17 Resolution and Exhibit Authorizing a Contract with the Montclair YMCA for the use of Ginny Duenkel Pool (Legal-Moon) This resolution authorizes the execution of a license agreement with the Montclair YMCA to allow them to use the Ginny Duenkel Pools for their competitive swimming program. On motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, the consent agenda was approved. All members present voting “Aye.” Ordinances on Second and Final Reading Ordinance 2507-17 On motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, Bond Ordinance Providing Various Capital Improvements In and By the Township of West Orange, in the County of Essex, New Jersey, Appropriating $8,990,546 Therefor and Authorizing the Issuance of $8,560,000 Bonds or Notes of the Township to Finance Part of The Cost Thereof was taken up on second and final reading. All members present voting “Aye.” The Council President stated that this is the scheduled time for the public hearing and asked the Clerk to read the ordinance by title only. The Council President asked if there was anyone who wished to be heard. No one wished to be heard. On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilman Guarino, the above mentioned ordinance was passed on second and final reading and ordered advertised according to law.
