This contract is continued from prior years for the control of geese in Degnan Park, including the island, Crystal Lake area and Stagg Field where there has been known to be a Canada Geese problem in the past. This proven measure of addling the eggs in the nests to prevent eggs from hatching into goslings and increasing the resident goose population has kept the numbers down so that the park may be used by our residents. This contract also provides for the supervision of volunteers that want to participate in this process. This contract was negotiated down $1,000 in 2010 to $3,000 and remains the same amount for 2011.
