1 Conference Meeting – November 21, 2017 The Township Council of the Township of West Orange met in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey at 6:33 p.m., Karen J. Carnevale, Municipal Clerk read the following statement: This is to inform the general public that this meeting is being held in compliance with Section 5 of the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, Public Law 1975. The annual notice was emailed to the Star Ledger and filed in the Township Clerk’s office on November 28, 2016 and published in the West Orange Chronicle on December 8, 2016. Roll Call: Present: Councilman Guarino, Councilwoman McCartney, Council President Krakoviak. Absent: Councilwoman Casalino, Councilman Cirilo A check in the amount of $76,936.64 was presented to the NOCC, represented by Jennifer Marzigliano by Megan Brill, Executive Director, Downtown West Orange Alliance. A presentation was made by Councilman Guarino on behalf of Mayor Parisi to Todd Cohen in recognition of Pancreatic Awareness Month. Perry Bashkoff, the Township’s Social Media Coordinator gave an update to the Council summarizing all projects he has been working on in 2017. Mr. Sayers gave an update on the progress of Phase I of the Redevelopment Project on Main Street.
