1 Conference Meeting – January 9, 2018 The Township Council of the Township of West Orange met in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey at 6:39 p.m., Karen J. Carnevale, Municipal Clerk read the following statement: This is to inform the general public that this meeting is being held in compliance with Section 5 of the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, Public Law 1975. The annual notice was emailed to the Star Ledger and filed in the Township Clerk’s office on October 25, 2017 and published in the West Orange Chronicle on November 2, 2017. Roll Call: Present: Councilwoman Casalino, Councilman Guarino, Councilman Krakoviak, Council President McCartney Absent: Councilman Cirilo Mayor Parisi administered the Oath of Office to Susan McCartney for the position of Council President. On Motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Council President McCartney, the June 2018 Council meeting dates were revised. All Council members present voting “Aye.” Mr. Sayers gave an update on the progress of Phase I of the Redevelopment Project on Main Street.
