1 Conference Meeting – October 16, 2018 The Township Council of the Township of West Orange met in the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey at 6:39 p.m., Karen Carnevale, Municipal Clerk read the following statement: This is to inform the general public that this meeting is being held in compliance with Section 5 of the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, Public Law 1975. The annual notice was emailed to the Star Ledger and filed in the Township Clerk’s office on October 25, 2017 and published in the West Orange Chronicle on November 2, 2017. Roll Call: Present: Councilwoman Casalino, Councilman Cirilo, Councilman Guarino, Councilman Krakoviak, and Council President McCartney Suzanne Pennell gave a presentation about a community outreach program she and Kathy Pigott organized called #ForOurTroops that collects items for our troops and ships them overseas during the holidays. Mr. Sayers gave a brief update on the redevelopment area. Pleasant Avenue Anthony Puglisi – PIO – Essex County There was no one else who wished to be heard and the public comment portion of the agenda was closed. The Council responded at this time. *Review of Consent Agenda
