3 j. 87-19 Resolution Authorizing the Purchase of a Vehicle through State Contract # 88728. (Anne D.) On motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, the consent agenda was approved. All members present voting “Aye.” Ordinances on Second and Final Reading Ordinance 2562-19 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Guarino, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-25, Loading Zones, of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange was taken up on second and final reading. All members present voting “Aye”. The Council President stated that this is the scheduled time for the public hearing and asked the Clerk to read the ordinance by title only. The Council President asked if there was anyone who wished to be heard. There was no one who wished to be heard and the public hearing was closed. On motion made by Council President Guarino and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, the above-mentioned ordinance was approved on second and final reading. All members present voting “Aye”. Ordinance 2563-19 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Guarino, An Ordinance Authorizing the Acquisition by the Township of West Orange, In the County of Essex and State of New Jersey of Certain Real and Personal Property Pursuant to the Local Lands and Building Law of the State of New Jersey, N.J.S.A. 40A:12- 1, Et. Seq. was taken up on second and final reading. All members present voting “Aye”. The Council President stated that this is the scheduled time for the public hearing and asked the Clerk to read the ordinance by title only. The Council President asked if there was anyone who wished to be heard. Mr. Jack Dusinberre, Special Real Estate Counsel on this transaction answered questions of the Council. There was no one else who wished to be heard and the public hearing was closed. The above-mentioned ordinance was approved on second and final reading. All members present voting “Aye”. Pending Matters/New Matters/Council Discussion Councilman Krakoviak inquired about the Library Redevelopment and Executive Drive. He also inquired about the heat and noise issues in Council Chambers. Councilwoman Casalino asked about the study with regard to the Library Redevelopment and also inquired about the Jitney for the Edison Lofts. ABC Hearing – None
