On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, the above referenced ordinance was approved. All members present voting “Aye.” Ordinances on First Reading Ordinance 2582-19 On motion made by Council President Guarino and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, An Ordinance Amending Chapter 2, Section 54 of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange (Mayor’s Program for the Uniquely Gifted) was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on September 10, 2019. All members present voting “Aye”. Ordinance 2583-19 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman Matute-Brown, An Ordinance Creating a Reclassification and Salary Schedule of Certain Township of West Orange Employees Setting Forth Their Titles, Classification and Salary Ranges and Adopting a Salary Guide and Establishing the Employee’s Status as a Township Employee and Under the Guidelines of the New Jersey Department of Personnel was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on September 10, 2019. All members present voting “Aye”. Ordinance 2584-19 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Guarino, Bond Ordinance for Various Capital Improvements in and by the Township of West Orange, in the County of Essex, New Jersey Appropriating $8,240,866. Therefor and Authorizing the Issuance of $7,848,441. Bond or Notes of the Township to Finance Part of the Cost Thereof was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on September 10, 2019. All members present voting “Aye”. Pending Matters/New Matters/Council Discussion A discussion took place about the Green Acres Program. ABC Hearing At 11:27 p.m. on motion made by Councilwoman Matute-Brown and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, the Council adjourned their public meeting resumed as the ABC Board.
