4 On motion made by Councilwoman Matute-Brown and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney the above referenced ordinance was approved. All members present voting “Aye.” Ordinance 2605-20 On motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Council President Casalino, An Ordinance Releasing, Extinguishing and Vacating the Rights of a 25’ Wide Utility Easement Located in Colonial Woods North Major Subdivision Shown on Filed Map #4518, Filed in the Essex County Registers Office on July 30, 2007, Running Along the Rear of Lots 12.23, 12.24, 12.25, 12.26 and 12.27 in Block 173, Township of West Orange, County of Essex, State on Jersey was taken up on second and final reading. All members present voting “Aye.” The Council President stated that this is the scheduled time for the public hearing and asked the Clerk to read the ordinance by title only. The Council President asked if there was anyone who wished to be heard. There was no one who wished to be heard and public comment was closed. On motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney the above referenced ordinance was approved. All members present voting “Aye.” Ordinances on First Reading Ordinance 2606-20 h. 2606-20 On motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Council President Casalino, An Ordinance Amending Chapter 4 to Include Sections 38 of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange (Prohibition of Less Lethal Devices and Requirement of Body Worn Cameras and Dash Cams) was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on July 14, 2020. All members present voting “Aye”. Ordinance 2607-20 2607-20 On motion made by Councilwoman Matute-Brown and seconded by Councilman Guarino, An Ordinance Repealing Chapter 4, Section 12.2 (b) of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on July 14, 2020. All members present voting “Aye”. The Council discussed making revisions to the above-referenced ordinance prior to adoption on second and final reading.
