4 Resolution 234-20 234-20 Resolution Authorizing an Application to Join the Bergen Municipal Employee Benefits Fund to Provide Retiree Medicare Advantage Health Benefits to Township Retirees at or Over the Age of 65 (Gross) On motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Councilwoman Matute-Brown, the above referenced resolution was approved. All members voting “Aye.” Resolution 241-20 241-20 Resolution Authorizing an Award of Contract for the Removal and Replacement of the Artificial Turf Baseball Infield at the West Orange High School be Awarded to Field Turf, USA, Inc. 175 North Industrial Boulevard, Calhoun, Georgia 30701 (Lepore) On motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, the above referenced resolution was approved. Councilman Guarino, Councilwoman Matute-Brown, Councilwoman McCartney and Council President Casalino voting “Aye.” Councilwoman Krakoviak voting “Nay.” Ordinances on Second and Final Reading Ordinance 2621-20 On motion made by Council President Casalino and seconded by Councilman Guarino, Ordinance Authorizing Special Emergency Appropriation Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:4-53 for Severance Liabilities Resulting from Unanticipated Required Accumulated Absence Payouts in Connection with the Layoff or Retirement of Employees was taken up on second and final reading. All members voting “Aye.” The Council President stated that this is the scheduled time for the public hearing and asked the Clerk to read the ordinance by title only. The Council President asked if there was anyone who wished to be heard. There was no one who wished to be heard and public comment was closed. On motion made by Councilman Guarino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, the above referenced ordinance was approved. All members voting “Aye.” Ordinance 2622-20 On motion made by Council President Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman Matute-Brown, Refunding Bond Ordinance Providing for the Refunding of All or a Portion of the Outstanding General Obligation Bonds, Series 2011, of the Township of West Orange, in the County of Essex, New Jersey, Appropriating $4,500,000 Therefor and Authorizing the Issuance of $4,500,000 Refunding Bonds of the Township for Financing the Cost Thereof was taken up on second and final reading. All members voting “Aye.”
