Adjacent Property Owners Pursuant to the Local Lands Use and Building Law was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on February 9, 2021. All members voting “Aye.” Ordinance 2629-21 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Matute-Brown, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-18.1, One Way Streets Designated, Subsection 7- 73.3, Temporary Parking Prohibited for Snow Plowing and Removal, Subsection 7-11, Parking Time Limited on Certain Streets During Certain Hours, Subsection 7-12, Parking Prohibited for Street Cleaning and Maintenance, Subsection 7-13, Parking Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets, Subsection 7-14.1c, Night Parking Restricted, Subsection 7-14.7, Alternate Side Parking and Subsection 7-25, Loading Zones, of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on February 9, 2021. All members voting “Aye.” Ordinance 2630-21 On motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-32.2, Restricted Parking Zones, of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange — 571 Valley Road and 8 Cross Street was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on February 9, 2021. All members voting “Aye.” Ordinance 2631-21 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Matute-Brown, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 2, Section 51 of the General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange, Entitled “Human Relations Commission” was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on February 9, 2021. All members voting “Aye.” Ordinance 2632-21 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Matute-Brown, An Ordinance of the Township of West Orange, in the County of Essex, State of New Jersey, Adopting a Redevelopment Plan Relating to the Executive Drive-Rooney Circle Redevelopment Area was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on February 9, 2021. All members voting “Aye.” On motion made by Councilman Rutherford and seconded by Council President Matute-Brown, an amendment was suggested to make lead certification a mandatory requirement as a part of the Redevelopment Plan. Councilwoman Casalino, Councilwoman McCartney and Councilwoman Williams voting “Nay.” Councilman Rutherford and Council President Matute-Brown voting “Aye.” The motion failed.
