On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, the above referenced ordinance was approved. All members voting “Aye.” Ordinances on First Reading Ordinance 2637-21 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Matute-Brown, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 3, “Rules of Council”, of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange, to Comport with Current Practice and Increase Efficiency and Effectiveness of Council Meetings was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on February 23, 2021. Councilwoman Casalino, Councilwoman McCartney and Council President Matute-Brown voting “Aye.” Councilman Rutherford and Councilwoman Williams voting “Nay.” On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman Williams, a revision was proposed to remove the paragraph regarding the one-hour time limit for public comment. All members voting “Aye.” At this time, Madame Clerk advised the Council President that Mr. Peter Wosh, member of the Historic Preservation Commission was on the Zoom call and wished to speak about resolution 32-21, adopted earlier in the evening. Pending Matters/New Matters/Council Discussion ‘The item listed for the Rent Control Board was postponed until the next meeting on February 23, 2021. At 11:19 a.m., on motion made by Councilwoman Williams and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, the Council Meeting was adjourned. All members voting “Aye.
