Ordinance 2639-21 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-32.1 Handicapped Parking on Streets and Subsection 7-32.2, Restricted Parking Zones, of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on March 23, 2021. All members voting “Aye.” Ordinance 2642-21 On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman Williams, An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter XXV Land Use Regulations of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange to Implement a Settlement Agreement with Fair Share Housing Center was approved on first reading, ordered advertised according to law, to come up for second and final reading on March 23, 2021. All members voting “Aye.” Pending Matters/New Matters/Council Discussion On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman McCartney, Rodolfo Rodriguez was nominated and approved for a 2-year appointment on the Rent Leveling Board. The following topics were discussed, Edison Redevelopment Project — Phase II, Economic Development Commission Consensus Appointment, One Year Anniversary of the First Case of Covid in the Township, NJLM Legislation regarding the legalization of marijuana.
