3 m. 303-21 Resolution Designating Persons Employed by the Township of West Orange, in the Listed Positions, as Deputy Custodians of Records, to Assist with and Facilitate Compliance with OPRA for the Department in which they Serve (Legal-Trenk) n. 304-21 Resolution Authorizing the Submission of an Application to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund Seeking $4,675,000 in Grant Funding to Fund the Remedial Action for the Properties at 18 Central Avenue and 8-10 Central Avenue (Legal-Moon) On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Councilwoman Williams, the consent agenda was approved. All members voting “Aye.” Resolution(s) removed from the Consent Agenda Resolution 290-21 290-21 Resolution Authorizing Tax Appeal and Signage Agreement - CLPF Essex Green (Legal- Trenk) On motion made by Council President Matute-Brown and seconded by Councilwoman Casalino, the above referenced resolution was approved. Councilwoman Casalino, Councilwoman McCartney, Councilwoman Williams and Council President Matute-Brown voting “Aye.” Councilman Rutherford voting “Nay.” Ordinances on Second and Final Reading Ordinance 2664-21 On motion made by Council President Matute-Brown and seconded by Councilwoman Williams, An Ordinance of the Township of West Orange, In the County of Essex, State of New Jersey Providing for a Special Emergency Appropriation in an Amount Not to Exceed $500,000 to Fund Contractually Required Severance Liabilities Resulting from the Retirement of Employees in the Township was taken up on second and final reading. All members voting “Aye.” The Council President stated that this is the scheduled time for the public hearing and asked the Clerk to read the ordinance by title only. The Council President asked if there was anyone who wished to be heard. There was no one who wished to be heard. On motion made by Councilwoman Casalino and seconded by Council President Matute-Brown, the above referenced ordinance was approved. All members voting “Aye.” Ordinance 2665-21
