2 The framed certificate of election was presented to Councilman Joe Krakoviak. “This is to certify that Joe Krakoviak was elected at a Municipal Election, held in the Township of West Orange, New Jersey, May 8th, Two Thousand Twelve, to the office of Councilmember-At-Large of West Orange and has qualified for said office in the manner required by law. In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal as Municipal Clerk and hereunto affixed the Corporate Seal of the Township of West Orange, this first day of July, Two Thousand and Twelve.” S/Karen J. Carnevale, R.M.C. Municipal Clerk The Honorable Robert H. Gardner, Superior Court Judge, Essex County, administered the oath of office to Councilman Krakoviak. Councilman Krakoviak expressed his appreciation to his wife Clare and members of his family, friends, and campaign staff for their hard work and support during the election. Councilman Guarino expressed his appreciation to his wife Robin and members of his family, friends, and campaign staff for their hard work and support during the election. Father Thomas Ivory, St. Josephs Church, West Orange, offered a prayer for the elected officials. On motion made by Councilwoman McCartney and seconded by Councilwoman Spango, Victor Cirilo was nominated as Council President. All members voting “Aye” as the roll was called. The Honorable John F. McKeon, Assemblyman 27th District administered the oath of office to Council President Cirilo. Councilwoman Spango presented the gavel to Council President Cirilo and stated she looks forward to working with him as Council President.
