Case Narrative Client: AECOM Job ID: 140-37967-1 Project: Wonder Smokehouse - M0010 Job ID: 140-37967-1 Eurofins Knoxville Job Narrative 140-37967-1 Receipt The samples were received on 8/7/2024 4:40 PM. Unless otherwise noted below, the samples arrived in good condition, and where required, properly preserved and on ice. The temperatures of the 2 coolers at receipt time were 1.9° C and 2.5° C. Receipt Exceptions The Chain-of-Custody (COC) was incomplete as received and/or improperly completed. COC list 9057 and Ammonia analysis, not required per project requirements. GC/MS Semi VOA Method 0010/8270C: The laboratory control sample duplicate (LCSD) for preparation batch 140-89750 and 140-89784 and analytical batch 140-89318 recovered autside control limits for the fallowing analytes: Hexachlorobutadiene. These analytes were biased high in the LCSD and were not detected in the associated samples; therefore, the data have been reported Method ID-0016: Isotope Dilution Analyte (IDA) recovery is above the method recommended limit for the fallowing samples: (LCS 140-89750/9-B), (LCSD 140-89750/10-B) and (MB 140-89750/1-C). Quantitation by isotope dilution generally precludes any adverse effect on data quality due to elevated IDA recoveries. Method ID-0016: Isotope Dilution Analyte (IDA) recovery is above the method recommended limit for the following samples: WONDSTK-STK- 1-M0010-PNR,FILT,GR,XAD,COND,IR-COMBINED (140-37967-1) and A-2321.A-2322 M0010 MEDIA CHECK XAD,FILTER (140-37967-9). Since the high recovery is due to matrix interferences, the analytes associated with this IDA may have a low bias. Method ID-0016: The following samples were diluted to bring the concentration of target analytes within the calibration range WONDSTK-STK- 1-M0010-PNR,FILT,CR,XAD,COND,IR-COMBINED (140-37987-1) and WONDSTK-STK-2-M0010- PNR,FILT,GR,XAD,COND,|R-COMBINED (140-37967-2). Elevated reporting limits (RLs) are provided Method ID-0014: Isotope Dilution Analyte (IDA) recovery is above the method recommended limit for the following samples: WONDSTK-STK-FB-MQ010-PNR,FILT,CR,XAD,COND,IR-COMBINED (140-37867-4), Since the high recovery is due to matrix interferences, the analytes associated with this IDA may have a low bias.
