The West Orange Recreation Department sponsored this league allowing our High School Girls an opportunity to play in a fall league in their home town. Fee was used to cover league expenses such as site personnel, scorekeepers and officials. Expenses were equally distributed amongst all teams. The West Orange Recreation Department does not charge a fee for trying out for our travel level teams. AAU programs commonly charge a tryout fee as do some municipalities. The registration fee for this program was based upon the number of sessions offered. Program was originally run by in house coaching staff but professional coaches were hired in 2018 resulting in raising of fee. Program discontinued due to competition with other Fall Sports. Mayor's Program for the Uniquely Gifted registration fees have been dedicated to the expenses of the event such as catering, balloons, decorations, entertainment and other items to make it an enjoyable event. No fees were charged in 2020 as events were not held in traditional format. Individuals were able to pick up a to-go bag with a meal at no cost in it on the traditional party dates but no events were held. Select Fall 2021 events were held in compliance with existing regulations. Program fees were dedicated to the uniforms, equipment and staff provided to the cheerleaders.. Upon his resignation, the program was discontinued. Due to COVID and in an effort to keep our residents active, we have tried to suppliment our traditional Crestmont Outing with a second Fall outing. Fees from these events go towards green fees, cart fees, bag lunch at check in,snacks and refreshments during the round, prizes and a dinner following the round. The dinner was traditionally held at the West Orange Elks. Due to COVID, the 2020 and 2021 events were held completely at the course resulting in increased costs, which we were able to be absorbed at the time. Registratoin fee is what the program cost is per child from the vendor. Program fee is determiend by the number of sessions. All proceeds are paid back to the program staff. The program is traditionally held indoors, however it has been held outdoors in 2020 and 2021. The program being held outdoors resulted in fewer sessions due to the weather and light which led to reduction in regstration fee.
