136-22 May 24, 2022 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, County of Essex, State of New Jersey, that the contract for TREE REMOVAL SERVICES in the Township of West Orange, in accordance with the plans and specifications on file in the Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works, dated August 2019, approved by the Township Council, by Resolution No. 265-19 dated November 12, 2019, pursuant to an advertisement duly authorized therefore, awarded to the below named bidder for a one year period commencing January 1, 2020 with an option for two additional one year periods be extended; and WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 144-21, dated June 22, 2021 the contract was extended for an additional one-year period commencing January 1, 2021; and WHEREAS, by letter dated May 6, 2022, the Municipal Engineer requests that the contract be extended for an additional one-year period commencing January 1, 2022 to: RICH TREE SERVICE, INC. 325 BERGEN STREET SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NEW JERSEY 07080 Who submitted the lowest responsible bid for all six tree sizes specified.
