Lepore, Municipal Engineer October 14, 2022 Township of West Orange Proposal No. 2022-258 Re: Proposal for Professional Land Surveying and Engineering Services Page 3 2022 Street Improvements Phase 1 With this being said, our office anticipates the following scope of work: 1. Survey and Base Map Services Work in this phase will include preparation of base mapping for use in the design of the construction plans for the roadway. Itis our understanding that orthophoto maps will be utilized for the base maps. We anticipate supplementing the ortho maps with survey work where drainage improvements are required. Approximate property lines will be established utilizing located property markers and tax map information. Work under this task will include preparing the GIS base mapping supplemented with three (3) days of field locations where necessary for drainage improvements. 2. Construction Plans and Contract Documents The work in this phase will involve preparing construction plans for the roadways in accordance with NUDOT requirements. Work in this phase will involve but not be limited to the following: a. Field visits to prepare quantities for each roadway. b. Preparation of Construction Plans including the following sheets. i. Cover Sheet ii. Legend and General Notes iii. Distribution of Quantities iv. Construction Plans v. Traffic Striping and Signage Plan vi. Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Plans and Details vii. Traffic Control Plan and Details viii. Construction Details c. Preparation of Bid Specifications. d. Preparation of Final Cost Estimate. e.
