SCOPE OF SERVICES DESIGN SERVICES A. Base Mapping dl Utilizing Township tax maps and state aerial mapping as a base, and followed by obtaining field measurements, an accurate map of existing conditions will be prepared for each roadway to assure adequate data for design of the required improvements. Using the base information and field information, the plans will depict the location of existing driveways, curbs and sidewalk, storm sewer structures, and other utilities. B. Design and Contract Documents 1. Before commencing the design, we will meet with you to review the specific requirements, including reviewing each street in the field. We will coordinate our efforts with your Department throughout the project. We will prepare engineering plans for each street at an anticipated scale of 1” = 30° utilizing the base mapping prepared under Task A. All design criteria will comply with the current NIDOT and MUTCD specifications. We will prepare a complete set of specifications. A final Engineer’s Estimate of Construction will also be prepared. We will prepare and submit twenty (20) sets of Contract Documents. ASSUMPTIONS Plans will be in a similar format and content as the West Orange 2021 Street Improvements Project Phase | Project. ADA ramps will be shown on the 1” = 30’ Construction Plan. Excludes detailing of ADA ramp grades.
