C@RONIS HEALTH November 17, 2022 Dear Evaluating Committee: It is Coronis Health’s (previous known as Revenue Guard Medical Claims Management) pleasure to provide this Ambulance Billing Services proposal to the Township of West Orange. We are enthusiastic about participating in the Bid because we believe your ambulance revenue may be in jeopardy. How so? Many municipalities have made errors in judgment by not fully taking into consideration a proposed vendor’s past performance and historical track record into account when deciding on the best choice as their EMS billing vendor. When it comes to EMS billing, the vendor offering “the lowest percentage, is not necessarily the lowest responsible bidder” and only considering the lowest bid may not be the best approach for determining which vendor will collect the most revenue. We urge you to strongly consider who your next billing vendor will be and if they are the best candidate to successfully secure and maximize your future Ambulance billing revenue? Coronis Health is confident that if awarded your contract, we will exceed any expectations that the Township of West Orange poses. Coronis Health has been providing EMS claims management and emergency medical third-party billing services and collections successfully for over 15 years and our focus is on ensuring that your current EMS billing performance and revenue are maximized. Our high compliance standards also ensure that your claims and service are able to withstand legal and regulatory scrutiny. Coronis Health has and will continue to produce more medical billing revenue than any other prospective competitor. In 2021 we generated over 300,000 claims and collected more than $100,000,000 million dollars in revenue for more than 75 municipalities and agencies, private providers and Hospitals. We continue to successfully increase “cash per trip” when compared to other companies. Coronis Health currently averages a 98% collection rate on all billable trips for our current clients. As an example, Coronis Health currently averages $350 cash collected per billable trip for our current clients, which is approximately 25% more than other current vendors are collecting.
