Show all pagesC@RONIS HEALTH WE ARE EXPERTS IN MEDICAL CODING, DIAGNOSIS, AND MEDICAL NECESSITY. Coronis Health employs only CAC’s (Certified Ambulance Coders) for our billing staff. Additionally, our Director of Revenue Cycle Management is certified in CACO (Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer) and CAPO (Certified Ambulance Privacy Officer). We also have an internal Medical Necessity Audit team that reviews all Medicare claims prior to submission ensuring full compliance with CMS regulations. Our billers are experts in managing EPCR claims as stored in our database and they perform all medical diagnostic coding using ICD-10 coding and CPT coding. We also have the ability to manually enter a PCR into our database in the event an EPCR is unable to be uploaded electronically. WE MAINTAIN HIGH HIPAA COMPLIANCE STANDARDS. Coronis Health takes HIPAA Compliance extremely seriously. We have established a comprehensive employee training program as an essential step toward achieving HIPAA compliance. We focus on wide-ranging yearly HIPAA training seminars as well as abbreviated monthly HIPAA reminder meetings to keep employees informed of security risks and threats to PHI and ePHI. Our HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer works hand in hand with both our Human Resources and IT Departments to develop training programs that instruct employees on how to avoid breaches in compliance and maintain common security safeguards. Training is maintained on a regular basis and includes orientation sessions for new employees as needed. WE ABIDE BY THE HIGHEST ETHICAL AND COMPLIANCE STANDARDS IN THE INDUSTRY. When it comes to integrity and compliance, Coronis Health never accepts compromise. While our collectors work hard each day for our customers, it is imperative that they maintain the highest standard of legal ethics and conduct when it comes to the collection of debt and communications with debtors with respect to that debt. When dealing protected data during collections, Coronis Health strictly follows their HIPAA Policies and Procedures to ensure no PHI or ePHI is ever compromised.
