C@RONIS HEALTH VERIFICATION / PRE-BILLIN At Coronis Health, each claim is evaluated by a pre-billing staff for completion and accuracy. All patient and insurance information are verified prior to data entry to decrease claim rejection. All mandatory provider information is checked for completion to assure that the claim is ready to be submitted. At this first step of quality assurance, the pre-billing staff will research and obtain any additional information required to enable each claim to move to the next stage of completion. Over 90% of all claims are released from Pre-billing within two business days of receipt. The Pre- billing department must submit an administrative report of any claim that is unable to be billed within 3 business days of receipt. Any claim not deemed suitable for billing within 5 business days is turned over to supervisory personnel for further action, which may include return to the provider for additional information. Procedure steps as follows: Upon receipt of the patient information, Coronis Health shall utilize standard skip tracing techniques to verify the authenticity of the patient’s demographics and whether he/ she has provided a release to obtain medical and insurance information.
