Show all pagesScope of Approval This General Approval along with the referenced application documents herein specified, shall constitute the sole approval of Recycling Center operations for Multi-Class recyclable material (leaves, grass, brush, tree parts, etc.) receipt, storage, transfér and processing by the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority (NJSEA) in Keamy Town, Hudson County, New Jersey. Any registration, approval or permit previously issued by the Division of Solid and Hazardous Waste, or its predecessor agencies, for the specific activities as described below and as conditioned herein, is hereby superseded. Regulated Activities at the Facility Conditions 1 through 40 of this approval contain the general conditions applicable to all recycling centers. Conditions 4] through 62 of this approval contain the general requirements applicable to the Class B and C operations at the facility. Conditions 63 through 72 of this approval contain the specific requirernents applicable to the Class C recyclable materials at the facility. Conditions 73 through 79 of this approval contain the specific requirements applicable to the Class B recyclable materials at the facility. Facility Description ‘The recycling center is owned by the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority. The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority has contracted with the Nature’s Choice Corporation to operate this recycling center for use as a regional site. The recycling center is located on a portion of the 1-E Sanitary Landfill in Keamy Town, Hudson County. Access to the recycling center is by Baler Boulevard located off of Belleville Tumpike. This regional recycling center receives leaves, grass clippings, tree parts and brush from municipalities, haulers, landscapers and commercial generators located within the northem region of New Jersey. The recycling center is authorized to accept, store, process or transfer recyclable materials Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The recycling center may receive, store, process or transfer leaves and grass clippings separately or ina commingled manner, and receive, store, process or transfer brush and tree parts separately or in a commingled manner. Tree parts and brush delivered to the site are processed through a tub grinder as needed for sale, and leaves and grass clippings are transferred to other
