AGREEMENT FOR JANITORIAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into on this __ day of March, 2024 by and between the TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, a municipal corporation of the State of New Jersey, located at Town Hall, 66 Main Street, West Orange, County of Essex and State of New Jersey, hereinafter called the “TOWNSHIP”, part of the first part, and NATIONWIDE CLEANING & RESTORATION SERVICES, INC., a New Jersey corporation with offices at 101 Hudson Street, 21st Floor, Jersey City, New Jersey 07302, hereinafter referred to as “NATIONWIDE”, party of the second part. WITNESSETH THAT: WHEREAS, the Township issued a Request for Bid Proposal for Janitorial Maintenance Services Re-Bid, (the “SPECIFICATIONS”) seeking to award a Contract for Janitorial Services at eight (8) buildings owned and operated by the TOWNSHIP, annexed hereto as Exhibit “A;” and WHEREAS, the Specifications set forth the terms and conditions of the Janitorial Services to be performed under this agreement; and WHEREAS, on March 12, 2024, NATIONWIDE submitted a bid in response to the SPECIFICATIONS (the “BID”), annexed hereto as Exhibit “B;” and WHEREAS, the BID included and incorporated the SPECIFICATIONS; and WHEREAS, the BID set forth an annual base bid of $61,750.00 per year with additional optional rates for floor buffing at $50.00 per hour and shampooing carpeting at $40.00 per hour; and NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises, terms and conditions
