Mr. Savage has more than 25 years of in-depth experience that includes a wide range of residential and commercial site design/layout, storm/sanitary sewer design, landfill construction management, landfill capping projects, landfill odor studies, sanitary sewer infiltration/inflow studies, a municipal sewage treatment plant expansion pilot study, field inspection, and permitting compliance. In addition, he has been responsible for the completion and submission of various state/municipal permits and applications some of which include CAFRA and Army Corps permitting, Treatment Works Approvals, Water Main Extension permits, Soil Erosion applications, and Pinelands Commission. Mr. Savage has also served as project and client manager on numerous residential and commercial projects varying from small to large located throughout New Jersey. Professional Experience 18 Central Avenue Mixed-Use Development, West Orange, NJ - Mr. Savage provided project management, and engineering design services for this multi-family housing development consisting of 94 units and 3,500 sf of retail within a 5-story building. Responsibilities included the preparation of site plans for submission to City and NJDEP, stormwater management design, NJDEP flood hazard area (FHA) permitting, and will include obtaining City Planning Board and outside agency approvals including soil erosion, County, sanitary sewer and water main extension approvals. Also responsible for flood volume displacement calculations required for the NJDEP FHA application. Mr. Savage also coordinated with the client’s architect as needed to complete the design documents. Heritage Village at Wall, Wall Township, NJ – Mr. Savage provided project management and engineering design services for this development consisting of 152 senior affordable residential units located within a 3-story building. Design services included preparation of site plans, site grading, stormwater management, water and sanitary sewer connections, and lighting. Project also included obtaining Borough Planning Board approval, County approval, soil erosion approval, NJDEP Wetlands permits and NJDEP permits for water main and sanitary sewer extensions. Mr. Savage also coordinated with the client’s other consultants (surveyor, geotechnical services, traffic engineer, and architect) as needed to complete the design documents. One Sunset Avenue, Township of Verona, NJ - Mr. Savage provided project management and engineering design services for this apartment development consisting of 200 residential units located within a multi-story building. Design services included preparation of site plans, site grading, stormwater management, water and sanitary sewer connections, and lighting. Project also included obtaining Borough Planning Board approval, County approval, soil erosion and NJDEP permits for water main and sanitary sewer extensions. Mr. Savage also coordinated with the client’s architect and landscape architect as needed to complete the design documents.
