Township of West Orange Department of Engineering Land Surveying and Civil Engineering Services – O’Connor Memorial Park Reconstruction Project geographic information systems (GIS); asset management; infrastructure maps; zoning map updates; preparation of bid documents; and engineer’s cost estimates. We have also partnered with respected geotechnical and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineers for the delivery of building projects. In addition, Boswell is proficient in its ability to assist clients in areas such as administrative and planning, capital programming, pavement management, recreational facilities, public bidding, GIS/Asset Management support, grants and low interest loan applications, land use, master planning, and infrastructure maintenance. Boswell’s approach to each project ensures that the professional services rendered satisfy the established goals, while maintaining complete control over the project, ensuring a high level of technical quality, and holding tight control over the project’s schedule and budget. The firm’s Quality Management Plan (QMP) is a standard for all our projects and allows Boswell to consistently meet our client’s needs in the most professional, cost-effective, and efficient manner. The QMP ensures delivery of a quality product, exceeding expectations, providing services in a timely manner, and ultimately resulting as a benefit to the taxpayers. Boswell also chooses to work in partnership with our clients, contractors, and all project stakeholders. We utilize Primavera P6 as our Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool and have experienced project managers and schedulers building project planning and control systems and providing updates as each project develops from preliminary design to final design. For projects requiring multiple engineering disciplines, the designated team representative serves as the single point of contact for our clients and has the primary responsibility of monitoring and coordinating the project team to ensure all aspects of the scope of work are properly evaluated and technically performed. Regular team meetings are held to review project status, integrate phases, identify potential problem areas, and implement corrective measures to avoid project delays and ultimately to keep the project within the approved budget. Boswell’s corporate headquarters is located in South Hackensack, New Jersey, approximately 21 miles / 30 minutes from O’Connor Memorial Park. Boswell is well-suited to promptly accommodate meetings with the Township officials and staff, utility companies, residents, and/or any individuals/entities as directed by the Township. This close proximity enables our team to attend meetings as required, provide on-site support, and be responsive on a 24/7 basis to any emergent situation in an expeditious and efficient manner.
