materials and labor for construction of setting bed, pavers, edge restraint, joint fill and stabilization. All Handicapped curb ramps are to be constructed with reinforced 6” thick concrete. It is the Contractor's responsibility for determining the extent of improvements required for those ramp locations identified and completing said work to ensure ramps are in conformance with current NJDOT and ADA standards. When newly proposed curb-lines, walks or driveways cause gaps in adjacent existing concrete/clay modular paver walks or driveway the contractor shall provide additional matching pavers to fill in such gaps or fill in such gaps fill in such gaps as directed by the engineer. No separate payment shall be made. Payment for TOPSOILING, 4" THICK, FERTILIZING AND SEEDING, TYPE A-3 AND STRAW MULCHING shall be included under the various bid items in this section including but not limited to RESET EXISTING PAVERS, CONCRETE SIDEWALK, _" THICK; CONCRETE SIDEWALK, REINFORCED, _" THICK; HOT MIX ASPHALT DRIVEWAY, _" THICK. Payment for 4” Dense Graded Aggregate Base Course shall be included under the various unit bid price items in this section including but not limited to CONCRETE SIDEWALK, _" THICK; CONCRETE SIDEWALK, REINFORCED, _" THICK; HOT MIX ASPHALT DRIVEWAY, _" THICK. All applicable unit bid price in this section shall include Excavation, Unclassified, pavement removal and disposal of all materials in order to construct in accordance with the plans and specifications. SECTION 607 —- CURB 607.01 DESCRIPTION THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED: Pay items under this section shall include pavement repair strips adjacent constructed curbs consisting of DENSE-GRADED AGGREGATE BASE COURSE, HOT MIX ASPHALT 9.5M64 SURFACE COURSE and HOT MIX ASPHALT 19M64 BASE COURSE in accordance with section 302 & 401. Thickness of the various courses shall be in accordance with the pavement section as detailed or noted on the plans. Pay items under this section shall include TOPSOILING 4” THICK, FERTILIZING & SEEDING, TYPE Alll AND STRAW MULCHING restoration of adjacent grassed areas disturbed by construction in accordance with section 804, 806 & 809. 607.02 MATERIAL THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED: In addition to all materials listed in the section, material for the following items shall include: + PAVEMENT REPAIR STRIPS ADJACENT TO PROPOSED CURB LINE: o DENSE-GRADED AGGREGATE BASE COURSE
