DIVISION 650 — UTILITIES SECTION 651 — WATER 651.01 DESCRIPTION THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED: The Work described in this Section is for work performed when the utility is owned by a municipality. The Contractor shall coordinate all work with the local utility authority. The utility owner is responsible for all inspection and testing. Separate payment shall not be made for Water Valve Box Reset. Shall be included under Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course, 2" Thick. SECTION 652 — SANITARY SEWERS 652.01 DESCRIPTION THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED: The Work described in this Section is for work performed when the utility is owned by a municipality. The Contractor shall coordinate all work with the local utility authority. The utility owner is responsible for all inspection and testing. 652.03.04 Sanitary Sewer Service Connections THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED: A. SANITARY SEWER SERVICE CONNECTIONS Performed by the Contractor House connections damaged by the Contractor shall be restored to proper operating conditions at no cost to the Township. The size and type of pipe and type of joint shall conform to the requirements of the corporations, companies, agencies, or municipalities owning or controlling the utility. When the service connection lines need to be relocated due to a field conflict, the length of line replaced will be paid by the linear foot and will include all Work to restore the service. Plastic or PVC pipe and fittings may be used if permitted by corporations, companies, agencies, or municipalities owning or controlling the utility. 652.04 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE ADDED: Pay Item Pay Unit RECONSTRUCT MANHOLE, SANITARY SEWER, INCLUDING NEW CASTING, FRAME AND COVER UNIT THE FOLLOWING IS ADDED: Payment for Setting Castings on Sanitary Manholes, Resetting Sanitary Manhole Castings, and Rebuilding Sanitary Manholes & Reconstructing Manholes shall be made under the respective bid items in section 602. 44
