PERIOD AND RATES Yearly 40% 55% 65% 80% Benefit 59.25% of Appren tice Wage for all intervals | + $0.50 Rat Ratio of Apprentices to Journeymen -* * 1 apprentice shall be allowed to every 2 journeymen or major fraction thereof. No more than 3 apprentices on any one job or project. Craft: Carpenter - Resilient Flooring COMMENTS/NOTES FOREMAN REQUIREMENTS: - On any job where there are 4 or more Carpenters of Resilient Flooring, 1 must be designated a Foreman. FOR SYNTHETIC TURF INSTALLATION ONLY: - The rate shall be 90% of the wage and benefit rate. The regular workday consists of 8 hours, starting between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM. SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS - When a 2 shift schedule (including a day shift) is established, the day shift, shall be established on an 8 hour basis. The second shift shall be established on an 8 hour basis, and receive the regular wage rate plus 10%. - When a three shift schedule is established, the first shift shall be established on an 8 hour basis, the second shift on a 7.5 hour basis, and the third shift on a 7 hour basis. The first shift shall receive the regular wage rate, the second shift shall receive the regular wage rate plus 10% and the third shift shall receive the regular wage rate plus 15%. - When there is no day shift, and a second or third shift is established, it shall be established on an 8 hour basis. The second shift shall receive the regular wage rate plus 10% and the third shift shall receive the regular wage rate plus 15%. - When an irregular shift must be established, this shift shall receive the regular rate plus 15%, inclusive of benefits. OVERTIME: - Hours in excess of 8 per day or 40 per week, or before or after the regular workday, Monday through Friday, shall be paid at time and one-half the wage rate. Saturday may be used as a make-up day, at straight time, up to 8 hours, for hours lost to reasons beyond the control of the employer, up to a total of 40 hours per week; hours in excess of 8 on Saturday shall then be paid at time and one-half the wage rate.
