Show all pagesTERRITORY ——— NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT _ ENTIRE STATE PREVAILING WAGE RATE DETERMINATION OPERATING ENGINEERS MARINE-DREDGING Rates Expiration Date : NOTE: These wage rates only apply to dredging and other marine construction activities occurring in navigable waters and their tributaries. Boat crews carrying explosive material (dynamite, pourfex, and other similar materials) shall be paid at 120% of the hourly wage rate for hours engaged in handling of said materials. Employees required to possess a Hazardous Material Certification as acondition of employment shall be compensated at 120% of the hourly wage rate. OVERTIME: Hours in excess of 40 per week, and all hours on Saturdays and Sundays, shall be paid at time and one-half the hourly rate. All hours on holidays shall be paid at double the hourly rate. RECOGNIZED HOLIDAYS: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. Sunday holidays observed the following Monday.
