30-25 January 28, 2025 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REJECTION OF THE FIVE BIDS RECEIVED FOR LAKE VINCENT WALKWAY IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange (“Township”) sought bids for a Contract for Lake Vincent Walkway Improvements; and WHEREAS, five sealed bids were received and opened by the Township on November 21,2024; and WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange Department of Engineering is requesting that the bid specifications be modified and re-bid the procurement process; and WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2(d), the Township can reject all five bids when it wishes to modify the specifications; and WHEREAS, the Township will revise the specifications and re-bid said specifications; and NOW, THEREFORE,IT IS RESOLVED, by the Council of the Township of West Orange that all five bids received on November 21, 2024 for Lake Vincent Walkway Improvements are hereby REJECTED pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2(d) as to specifications will be revised and re-bid and the payments received for the previously issued specifications shall be returned; and Karen J.
