159-25 June 24, 2025 RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO COMPUTER SQUARE FOR THE WEST ORANGE POLICE AND FIRE EMERGENCY INFOSHARE/CAD/RMS SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE RENEWAL WHEREAS, the West Orange Police and Fire Departments utilize an emergency services computer aided (INFOSHARE/CAD/RMS) software for dispatch, Police and Fire reporting and records management by the Computer Square dba CSI Technology Group, and WHEREAS, N.J.S.A 40A:11-5(1)(dd) permits the support and maintenance of proprietary computer hardware and software without public advertising for bids and the OEM Coordinator/ IT Director determined said software is proprietary; and WHEREAS, the Police Department has researched other CAD software that is available, see attached Exhibit A and after reviewing all the options, have concluded that keeping the current software would be the most cost-effective option, and WHEREAS, the term for this maintenance agreement for lenslock BWC Interface 05.22.25- 09.28.26, maintenance for InfoShare Saas Police & Fire CAD/RMS 09.29.202509.28.26; and WHEREAS, Computer Square, Inc dba CSI Technology Group has submitted all required documentation for this award in accordance with the New Jersey State Statues. NOW IT BE RESOLVED, by the Council of the Township of West Orange to award a contract in the amount not to exceed of $107,034.24 to: Computer Square, Inc. dba CSI Technology Group 330 Mac Ln Keasbey, NJ 08832 BE IT FURTHER RESOVLED, that the Purchasing Agent will execute a purchase order with stipulated terms on behalf of the Township with funds certified available by the Chief Financial Officer.
