TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE COMPETITIVE CONTRACT REPORT FOR GRANT WRITER SERVICES FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE Evaluation and Recommendation of an Award for Grant Writer Services Contract for the Township of West Orange for three (3) years with the option to extend 2 one-year periods. This report was prepared in accordance with the requirements of competitive contracting under the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A.40A:11-4.1 et seq., for reasons explained herein. History Township Council for the Township of West Orange (the "Township") adopted Resolution 173-23 on May 16, 2023 which authorized the Township to utilize Competitive Contracting in lieu of public bidding to award a contract for Grant Writer Services for the Township. On June 9,2023 the Township of West Orange (TOWNSHIP) advertised for bids in the Star-Ledger and Township website, due July 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.; One (1) bid was received. At the date and time designated, the following one company submitted a proposal: Millennium Strategies 60 Columbia Rd Building B, Suite 230 Morristown, NJ 07960 Recommendation: Due to receiving only one bid and the Township is satisfied with the company from past experience recommendation to award to Millennium Strategies for a period of 3 years with an option to extend 2 one year periods.
