Show all pagesb. 2933-25 An Ordinance Amending And Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-7.3 Temporary Parking Prohibition For Snow Plowing And Removal, Subsection 7-10.2 Stopping Or Standing Prohibited During Certain Hours On Certain Streets On Certain Days, Subsection 7-12 Parking Prohibited For Street Cleaning And Maintenance, Subsection 7-14.1 NIGHT PARKING RESTRICTED, And SUBSECTION 7-14.7 Alternate Side Parking Of The Revised General Ordinances Of The Township Of West Orange (Carballo) The Ordinance, which amends the Traffic Regulations of the Township, updates the parking regulations on Franklin Avenue between Main Street and Cherry Street to allow more parking for the local residents, including those on the neighboring side streets. Accommodations were made to allow for snow plowing and weekly street cleaning and maintenance. These changes were made in response to local residents’ demand for more on street parking in this neighborhood and in part suggested by the recent Comprehensive Parking Study undertaken by Dynamic Traffic Engineering for the Township. c. 2934-25 An Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Chapter 7, Traffic, Subsection 7-32.2 Restricted Parking Zones of the Revised General Ordinances of the Township of West Orange (Carballo) This amendment to the Restricted Parking Ordinance is in response to a request from a handicapped resident who resides at 250-252 Watchung Avenue and possesses the required NJ Disability ID and parking placard. Such parking stalls are permissible under the laws of New Jersey, and they are designated Restricted Parking Zones. All other Parking Ordinances under this chapter apply and supersede the use of these restricted spaces. d. 2935-25 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 25, Section 11.10 Regarding Outdoor Cafes (LegalGengaro). The purpose of this ordinance is to add additional requirements for establishments located in these B-1, B-2, and PC districts to operate an outdoor cafe.
