within a $0-foot (+/-) right-of-way. Proposals shall be submitted to provide all work required to ptovide a complete design package as generally described onthe enclosed desetiption. The cost of services shall be a complete design and bid package including cost estimates, plans and specifications (twenty copies each} for bidding purposes, detour plans, construction stakeout and cut sheets. This project will be fully funded by - Township of. West Orange. “All plans, specifications and bid documents shall be in conformance with the’ {atest New Jersey Department of ‘Transportation specifications, and, shall be submitted to our office for review prior to finalizing contract documents. Proposals shall be on‘a’ umd sum, basis. Hourly sates shall be submitted with ali proposal for any additional work. Design will consist of utilizing aetial orthophoto maps for preparation of project base maps, A. one+site ‘visit will be conducted to verify and supplement planimetric elements such as roads, inlets, and other -features for the preparation of plans and specification for the milling and resurfacing of the roadways, It is the intent of this office to advertise for bids upon availability of funds from the Township in Winter/Spring 2025. Proposals shall be submitted in writing on or before 10:00 A.M. Thursday, March 28, 2024 to the Department of Engineering, 25 Lakeside Avenue, West Orange, New. Jersey 07052 and shall include a specified completion date or number of days required for completion of the work after approval is granted to ‘proceed. 122-24 April 9, 2024 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange proposes Professional Engineering Services for the Various Street Improvements, Phase IT; and WHEREAS, to design and specify these improvements the Township requires the services of a professional engineering firm; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer prepared a Request for Proposals dated March 15, 2024 for these professiona! design services; and WHEREAS, the Township Engineer solicited a proposal from four professional engineering and land surveying firms; and WHEREAS, Greenman-Pederson, Inc,, responded to the Request for Proposal; and WHEREAS, Greenman-Pederson, Inc. have performed similar work for the Township on several projects and their work quality is very good; and WHEREAS, by letter dated April 2, 2024 the Township Engineer recommended a professional services contract be awarded to, Greenman-Pedergon, Inc., 301 Gibraltar Drive, Suite 2A, Morris Plains, NJ. 07950 for Professional Engineering Services associated with the Vatious Street Improvements, Phase Il; and WHEREAS, Greenman-Pederson, Inc. responded to the Township’s Request for Qualifications for Professional Services for 2024; and WHEREAS, sufficient funds exist for the services outlined in the proposal of Greenman- Pederson, lne.; and WHEREAS, the Township Council concurs in the foregoing, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Township Council of the Township of West Orange, New Jersey that a professional services contract be awarded to Greenman-Pederson, Inc, to provide professional eugincering services for Various Street Improvements, Phase II ia the amount of $23,285.00.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be published in the West Orange Chronicle within ten (10) days of its approval as required by State Statute. 255-25 November 12, 2025 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE CSAV SYSTEM AND EQUIPMENT TO SHI INTERNATIONAL THROUGH THE NEW JERSEY COOPERATIVE PURCHASING ALLIANCE WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange requires replacing and updating the existing CSAV System and equipment in the Municipal Court, as they have been determined to be outdated and must be replaced to meet modern standards and technologies. WHEREAS, SHI International of Somerset, NJ has submitted Quotes #26689388 and #26689394 in the amount of $74,653.54 that was presented to Municipal Court and Business Administrator; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision made in the Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(2) the Township as a Local Government Unit, may without public advertising for goods or services enter into contracts already secured by the United States of America, the State of New Jersey, County or Municipality; and WHEREAS, the services as set forth in the Proposal submitted by SHI International will be procured through the Bergen County Cooperative Pricing System (New Jersey Cooperative Purchasing Alliance) via Contract No. CK04, subcontract 24-38 Computer Equipment and Peripherals; and WHEREAS, the Township of West Orange is a member of the Bergen County Cooperative Pricing System; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has determined that sufficient funds to award this contract; and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council for the Township of West Orange, County of Essex, State of New Jersey award the contract to SHI International at an amount not to exceed $74,653.54; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that SHI International shall provide any and all compliance information requested by the Township of West Orange Office of Purchasing; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Business Administrator, or their designee are hereby authorized to execute any documents regarding the awarding of this contract, or take any action necessary to effectuate the spirit and purpose of this resolution.
